Our Story

A few years ago we discovered that Luke could not eat any food items that contained strong food dyes. Talking with parents we soon found out we were not alone. Many children had special dietary considerations, some that were life threatening. Many children require nut-free diets, some need dairy-free options while others are sensitive to gluten.

Overwhelmingly parents wanted healthy choices! It is not necessary to buy the ready-made sugar-filled popsicle-type treats when we can easily and conveniently provide other choices.

One day while in the car, and knowing home-made ice-pops were in the freezer at home, Luke made the comment, "too bad we can't bring them with us." Well that is all it took. It was our aha! moment. Soon we were off and running with the idea for Zipzicle™ zip-top ice-pop bags.
